Ghirardelli Chocolate wanted to create the ambiance of an old fashioned soda fountain. Using period colors and materials such as mosaic tile flooring, mahogany casework, and stainless steel counter, Hayashida Architects brought an old fashioned ice cream parlor to life for the age.
