Tze-Yan Szeto, LEED AP

Project Manager

Tze-Yan Szeto brings over 16 years of experience in concept design and project management for residential clients, corporate companies, and enterprise organizations. As Associate, she is a senior manager responsible for developing overall design concepts and building programs, interior design and lighting, materials specification and costs, consultation on operations flow and processes, and the delivery of a project through jurisdictional approvals and construction. She is dedicated to meeting a client’s needs with personalized service and a beautiful design that is both functional and within budget.

Originally from Hong Kong, Ms. Szeto has travelled throughout Asia and Europe. Her interests and experiences in the living conditions of other countries have shaped her practice and informed her approach to design. Prior to joining Hayashida Architects, Ms. Szeto worked as a carpenter and millworker on custom residential projects. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently licensed in California. She is a LEED accredited professional and is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council.
