The conversion of the old Caterpillar assembly plant into modem light industrial/office and retail spaces was a highlight of 1989/1990 for Hayashida Architects. Incorporating over 800,000 square feet of total space, tenants such as See’s Candies, Home Depot and Breuners enjoy the retail space on the first level. The second floor, with vehicle access, houses both large and small tenants, including Pac Bell, Datatronix and Aeron-Biotech.
Building Architects were Kaplan, McLaughlin and Diaz. Tenant improvement work was done by Hayashida Architects and general contracting by Hunter-Moffitt of San Francisco.
